Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” Jesus says in John 14:27, “‘ Peace I leave with you my peace I give you. We can experience His peace even during troubled times. We don’t have to be in perfect conditions to experience His peace. His peace rests upon us as our hearts focus on Him. How could it be that I started my day great yet end it feeling horrible? However, by the time night comes, I feel exhausted and horrible. I push the annoyances and anxious thoughts that come my way to the side and move on with my day. Instead of stopping to get my mind right with the Lord, I keep going. But as the day goes on, the stresses and worries of life start to creep in my mind. I always start my day with Jesus and leave feeling great. Joy, peace, and love come when we fix our eyes on Him. It takes our □□□□□□□□□□□□□□ to stop what we’re doing in order to posture our hearts before Him. Our worries, fears, and emotions can be so loud that they distract us from abiding in Jesus.
